Yoga, Core, & Movement

Movement facilitates our ability to live peacefully within our bodies, and oftentimes, it can be especially difficult to live in our bodies when stress, anxiety, trauma, chronic pain, and various other issues are involved. We are so happy to be collaborating with these lovely individuals who can help reintroduce you to movement in the current state of your body. They bring gifts of kindness and compassion through their knowledge of the connection we have with our bodies. Our movement space is fully ADA-accessible.

Becca Beck (Becca Beck Movement)

Mindful functional movement & Core and pelvic floor work

Becca brings her independent practice, Becca Beck Movement, to Ayama Psychotherapy. She facilitates the process of reconnecting people to the amazing powers of the body. With expertise in body mechanics and its connection to the core and pelvic floor, she teaches how to speak with ourselves about our bodies and how to nourish the body through movement with compassion.

One-on-one sessions: Becca tailors individual sessions to fit what you and your body want to pursue. She will do a brief phone call (no cost) if you are interested, and sessions are $90/session, with discounted rates when multiple sessions are purchased together. She can meet in-person or via video.

Group class: Becca leads an in-person group class at Ayama (Wednesday’s at 1:30 pm), which is open to anyone who is hesitant in their body and who prefers a small class (5 or less) delivered with compassion. Becca helps people listen to their bodies, explore movement and core strength, and find delight in what the body can do. Beginners are heartily welcome.
