Job Openings:

1) Part-time auditor

The ideal candidate is a warm, helpful individual who has an eye for detail and who is energized by the idea of helping clinicians tidy up their documentation process so that they have complete confidence in their documentation, whether needed for the communication with a provider, insurance audit, social security disability application, etc.

Bachelor’s degree preferred. Previous experience with healthcare documentation is preferred. Hours are extremely flexible, and a paid, small auditing project will be the first job that we are filling.

2) Part-time or full-time licensed clinician to provide psychotherapy for adults at our office in Lemont, PA, or via telehealth.

The ideal candidate has a warm, mindful interpersonal style and a genuine enthusiasm for clinical work of a mind-body nature.

Clinically, although not a requirement, we have a pressing need for a clinician who wants to treat one or more of the following conditions in adults: OCD, insomnia, diabetes and weight management, and pain. If you have an interest in any of these areas but need to solidify your expertise with additional training, we can assist with this.

We value diversity, including but not limited to race/ethnicity, gender, religion, sexual orientation, educational path, theoretical orientation, and opinions. As such, this position is open for entry-level through advanced-career clinicians.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Maintain a caseload of clients (18 years or older), consistent with the contracted schedule

  • Provide ethical, legal, and clinically astute treatment and record-keeping within the bounds of one’s competency areas

  • Engage in professionally navigated assessment and diagnosis, treatment goal planning, therapy, and communication with outside providers

  • Meet and maintain all requirements for active licensure with your governing State Board in a timely manner

  • Follow the philosophy, policies, and procedures of Ayama Psychotherapy LLC, which include active participation in case consultation and creating space for meaningful self-care

Qualifications:

Master’s or Doctorate in psychology, counseling, or social work. You must be located in PA and have an active license or current license eligibility in PA. We do check references and will be discrete.

Compensation:

We do a base compensation rate plus bonuses and other perks. The base compensation is competitive, with variations based primarily on your number of hours of availability to schedule per week and your work experience.

Our clientele is associated with a high attendance rate, which means a steady income for our clinicians. We give you what you need to operate with ease, which includes basics that we believe every work situation should offer: administrative support to do the tedious tasks and field phone calls, assistance with identifying and scheduling good-fit clients for your caseload, insurance credentialing support, client onboarding, and excellent case consultation with supportive, established, talented, and deeply-knowledgeable clinicians. For clinicians opting for employee status, we cover expenses such as an EHR program, liability insurance, and licensing renewal fees. All clinicians are covered by workman’s compensation insurance.

For licensed clinicians opting to be full-time employees: The commission rate is 70%, plus quarterly bonuses for the maintenance of high attendance rates. We also offer one week of paid time off every December, so clinician income is ultimately higher than 70%. For every 3 years of full-time employment, we also provide one month of paid time off. High-quality CE trainings to keep up-to-date are highly encouraged and are covered expenses.

**Note: We can arrange for a W2 or contractor status, depending on what your goals and existing work situation are, and we can help you navigate that decision with facts and numbers so that you are following federal and state guidelines and making a decision that fits your needs.
